Encode to Base64

Base64 Encoding is the process of converting binary data to an ASCII format. For example, images or video can be transmitted to another system those are designed to transmit data in plain-text.

Why people started using Base64 Encode?

People were searching for a solution when media is transmitted in binary format to text-based systems. Since text-based systems( eg. email) interpret binary data as a wide range of characters- special commands- will be misinterpreted by those systems and corrupted.
